Time flies by when you're the driver of a train
Time flies by…at Northampton

Between changing trains in Birmingham New Street station I bought a coffee and had this remarkable exchange with the person behind the till:

- Till boy: (Looking at the Scottish £5 I proffered) Where on earth did you get that from?
- RX: Scotland
- TB: But you are not Scottish
- RX: No, I live there
- TB: Are you a traveller?
- RX: Err, I’ve lived there for 15 years
- TB: So, you’re not a traveller then

Brilliant!

    Very funny. When i was a student in Hull they loved the £1 Scottish notes so they could use them as money gifts when send birthday cards
