urban slices

The concentration of people, buildings and information in the urban environment creates a visual noise which is often impenetrable. It can obscure the contradictions of poverty and wealth, beauty and suffering, until all seems quite natural and we no longer see the different facets.

By extracting slices from cities we can refresh our outlook - seeing how others live can impel or repel. In either case we can become aware and in this awareness is the glimmer of change.
